Roasted Dandelion Root

Great ceffeine free alternative to coffee - rich and flavorsome.

Dandelion root is one of the best herbal diuretics - it stimulates urine but also replaces the potassium lost to the increased volume of urine.

Dandelion root is a mild chloretic, that is, an agent for stimulating the release of bile from the liver to the gallbladder. the release of bile is a laxative and accelerates the breakdown of various steroid hormones causing an indirect and favourable effect on eczema and other skin conditions.

Use with caution if you have gallstones.

Directions: Roasted Dandelion can be made up similar to roasted coffee - in a plunger, espresso machine, percolator etc or simply boil up with water on the stove top. You do not need as much dandelion root as you would coffee - for 2 cups only 1 - 1.5 tsp or more if in a plunger. You'll need to experiment to get the right strength for you.
