Organic Ground Cardamom Country of Origin: Sri Lanka Cardamom is a herb from the ginger family that produces small triangular seedpods. They are used as a flavouring in both food and drink, as well as a cooking spice and a medicine. They come in two main varities - Elettaria (green cardamom) and Amomum (black cardamom). Green cardamom is one of the most expensive spices by weight, but is very strong in flavour. Green cardamom is often used in traditional Indian sweets and in Masala chai. Certification: ACO
