Nori Sheets

Country of Origin: Japan

Nori sheets are one of the most commonly used form of sea weed in the diet. Processed from red algae from the Porphyra genus in a similar way to how paper is traditionally made.

Nori sheets are typically used for rolling sushi or adding to rice balls and noodle dishes. Slightly crispy and salty in taste, they are great torn up and tossed into salads.

Nori is high in fibre, protein, minerals and vitamins, particularly calcium, zinc and lignans.

Warning: High in Sodium as well.
