Living Community Festival

Living Community Festival
The Living Community Festival was more magical than ever this year!
Mullumbimby Community Garden has gone from strength to strength in what is a perfect celebration of community and sustainability. One of the things we love most about the festival is just how many members of our community are involved in its creation!

For the first time we hosted the Santos Organics Village with many of our staff members volunteering on the day to help raise funds for the gardens and raise awareness about great initiatives such as Nude Your Food and Who Gives a Crap Toilet paper (hyperlink to items on website)!

The Head Gnome in the children’s garden looked so much like our Byron store’s assistant manager Paul Crebar!

Highlights for us included the WGAC toilet paper stack and the launch of our “Save the Bee” bags with all proceeds going to Mullumbimby Community Gardens. Check them out on our website www.santosorganics.com.au

Thanks again to the Mullumbimby Community Gardens for all your amazing work in weaving the threads of our community together!

As they say down at ‘the gardens’;
In a rose garden, you grow roses,
In a veggie garden, you grow veggies,
And in a community garden you grow… community!
Inside the Big Fig workshop tent – how to make ‘brews’ for your veggie patch.

To help save the bees we are selling beautiful screen printed organic cotton bags with all funds proceeds raised going  to award winning Mullumbimby Community Gardens, who are creating so much beeutiful bee habitat!
