World Environment Day Awards
Santos Organics was a nominee in this years Byron Shire Council, World Environment Day Awards. Earlier this month on the 5th of June, our general manager, Michael Lyon and a team of representatives from Santos attended the awards ceremony and were winners in the category of Sustainable Food within the shire.
There were five categories; conservation and land management, sustainable food, green business, education and training and green building.
A big congratulations from Santos to all award winners and the Byron Shire Council for supporting local ethical business practice and acknowledging the importance of ethical, sustainable food choices for the health of the environment.
