Quinoa is a grain originating from South America that formed a staple food of the Inca
civilization. It contains more protein than any other grain - an average of 16.2%. Quinoa also
provides starch, sugars, oil, fibre and vitamins. It is a highly nutritious grain and a tasty
alternative for porridge and cereal mixes, as well as being gluten free. Cooks like rolled oats.
