Ingredients: organic currants
Currants are produced from Zante or Carina grapes. The grapes are harvested and then either placed
on the ground or on trays for sun drying. Once the currants are dried they are then graded for size,
colour, texture and moisture before the product is sent for processing.
Currants are generally smaller than sultanas and great for cereals and baking (biscuits, cakes,
slices etc).

Some iron, magnesium, manganese calcium and phosphorus

the seeds of currants good amounts of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA)
NOTE: As with most dried fruit, an increase in water consumption is recommended. Also,
dried fruit in comparison to fresh fruit may have a lower vitamin and mineral content and has a
higher concentration of it's natural sugars.
