The edible fig is one of the first plants cultivated by humans, dating back to around 9400BC. Figs
were a staple food for the Romans.

These dried figs make delicious organic lunch box treats and are great for cooking.
NOTE: As with most dried fruit, an increase in water consumption is recommended. Also,
dried fruit in comparison to fresh fruit may have a lower vitamin and mineral content and has a
higher concentration of it's natural sugars.
