Organic Couscous
Country of Origin: Italy
Ingredients: Durum Wheat Semolina, Water.
Couscous is most commonly made from semolina that is sprinkled with water and rolled to form small
pellets, which are then sieved. The repetition of this process results in the tiny granules of
couscous.
In Morocco and Tunisia, couscous is most commonly served with vegetables that are cooked in a spicy
broth or stew, whilst in Libya it is mainly served with meat. In Egypt couscous is eaten as a
dessert, prepared with butter, sugar, coconut, raisins and topped with milk or cream.
