Curry powder is a mixture of spices based on Indian cuisine. Recipes vary, but most usually include
coriander, turmeric, cumin and fenugreek. Additional ingredients such as ginger, garlic, fennel
seed, cinnamon, clove, mustard seed, cardamom, nutmeg and pepper are sometimes added. Although curry
powder is mainly used in India, it's use has spread around the world and is commonly infused into
western style foods like curried sausages.
