DISINFECTANT
Cleaning and disinfection of environmental surfaces are important components of routine hygiene;
not just in health care facilities but also in the kitchen, the nursery, at home, in food processing
factories and in general, everywhere. Cleaning and disinfection are critical to the prevention of
transmission of infectious diseases.
CitroShield is fast acting, broad spectrum, organic, non-toxic and has considerable advantages over
chemical based products, which have limited application. Extensive in-vitro laboratory data confirms
its powerful efficacy, non-toxicity, and carrier and capacity ability against pathogens, which is
fast acting and remaining active in extremes of temperature, pH and organic challenge. The product
is suitable for all in-animate surfaces being non-corrosive, biodegradable and environmentally
friendly.
CitroShield products do not bleach surfaces or leave harsh chemical odours which may make surfaces
look clean but still leave pathogens in place. Once surfaces have been cleaned the application of
CitroShield Disinfectant kills bacteria completely and leaves a residual sanitising effect which
lasts for up to 48 hours.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
CitroShield® Disinfectant – Concentrate is easy to apply by spraying and fogging methods. You
can also use a sponge, a scrubbing brush or a mop.
RECOMMENDED DILUTION
Cutting and packing areas/surfaces: 2%
Walls, floors and cool room areas: 4%
For hospital grade disinfection: 10%
e.g.
2% 2 litres CitroShield® Disinfectant – Concentrate – 98 litres water
4% 4 litres CitroShield® Disinfectant – Concentrate – 96 litres water
10% 10 litres CitroShield® Disinfectant – Concentrate – 90 litres water
Always remove dirt and grime where possible with potable water first before spraying or
wiping.
Effectiveness can be diminished by chlorine levels in water.
Do not mix with detergents or other chemicals
